Colin A. Hill - Non-Executive Chairman

We are delighted that Colin has agreed to work with N2B and help guide it during its setup and initial development. Colin reduced his business schedule in 2005 after twenty five years with Trifast Plc. This included over ten years as a Plc Director.

During this time Colin grew with the Company from General Manager of a single Division to a Main Board Director, and finally onto the Plc Board when the Company floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1994. Colin's final Board position was that of their European Managing Director, making him responsible for over £60 Million of the Groups Sales. Colin continues to put his wealth of experience to good use with a small group of selected companies.

David K. Skilling - Managing Director

David Skilling founded the Company in June 2006 to specifically work within the SME Engineering sector. David's aim was to provide a results driven team providing business consultancy across a wide range of disciplines. The team has proven track records in their areas of expertise and many of them continue to run their own successful companies, whilst helping other businesses to work towards reaching their goals and develop their potential. After completing his Engineering Apprenticeship and Qualifications with Aerospace Company Short Brothers & Harland's, he joined the GKN Group for five years, during which time he moved with his family and settled in Scotland.

In 1987 he left GKN to form a green field site for TR Fastenings in East Kilbride, just outside Glasgow. Over his nineteen year career he performed a number of roles across Sales, Purchasing and Operations. David was appointed a Director of TR Fastenings in 1990 and completed his time with the Company as Regional Managing Director, responsible for the P&L of Scotland, Ireland, North East of England, and the new Division in Budapest, Hungary.

During this time his team grew to one hundred and twenty five people with Sales revenues of £24 Million and a bottom line acceptable to his Main Board. Making these considerable resources available at an acceptable cost to the SME sector is a key objective of N2B. The individual members of our team have all produced results, both in previous posts, or in their own business today.

Martin T. Phillips - Sales Director

Martin is a senior director with thirty years experience in sales, marketing and team-building. He has considerable international business experience in Europe, Asia and the United States. Sales experience at the highest level working with blue chip companies, extending to developing a select Japanese client base. Significant experience working in the charity sector as a Trustee and part of their management team. He is also An effective team builder and leader, able to communicate at all levels with a natural gift for negotiation and an ability to achieve results. Possessing a strong strategic focus with a proven record demonstrating excellent operational management, business development and financial skills.

Kenneth Ford - Operations Director

Ken has a classic corporate marketing & customer care background. His career in financial services, the travel industry and sales training consultancy went from apprentice with Royal Bank of Scotland to Vice President with Citicorp Diners Club. Ken has successfully developed a career in marketing, sales and customer relationship management that has spanned 35 years.

He has worked in a number of high profile companies including American Express, British Airways, Citicorp and Scottish Enterprise with a world class client list such as; Shell, BAe, Siemens Plessey, ICI, Thorn, Exxon, HM Government, Mars, Goldman Sachs, Price Waterhouse and Baring Brothers. In recent years he has successfully applied the standards of the corporate market when dealing with the SME market in the UK.

Paul Farmer - Finance Manager

Paul has over 30 years experience in managing Finance Teams. As Financial Controller of a large European Distributor he dovetailed practical accounting with commercial needs to ensure optimum efficiencies were obtained to meet the ever changing marketplace.

By combining Central UK finance responsibilities with the management of remote teams based in other European countries, Paul's experiences with both UK and cross border trading activity ensure that commercial opportunities are optimised whilst costs and business risks associated are minimised.
